We found that the original vinyl version had a brighter sound than the CD versions and managed to match both.
However, we are posting the CD version since that is probably what most people would have for comparison.
Gear used: 2004 American Strat with CS 54 pickups, TVS3 (driven fairly hard), AC30/4 clone.
No added compression (just that from the TVS3, amplifier and guitar action) and just a small amount of top cut during the mixing.

Very authentic sound indeed! I don´t think it´s possible to get closer to the original.
