Well played Martin great solo at 1:12 and the Gretsch sounds just right for this song.

Thanks guys. In fact I started with the (Beatles') solo and then decided to work the song around it. George Harrison certainly knew how to compose a solo, e.g. Something...

Very nice rendition and tone Martin . So many great melodic Lennon Mc Cartney tunes make really good guitar instrumentals.
I am currently working on World Without Love using the excellent Roger Paulsson backing track.

N.B. The solo on "Something" was the work of and played by Eric Clapton ;)

Something's solo was Harrison.

I not sure whether your comment referred to the song at issue here. But Til there was you was not written by Lennon McCartney
