I am almost there; do I use the big eq knobs on the HD for the amp eq settings and then push 'save' ?
I wonder if that is what you mean, as you mention percentages instead of e.g. 'o çlock' indications?
(I cannot to find eq settings in the display)

Also 'try adding some mid focus eq after...'etc., is still beyond my grasp.

Yes you use the big knobs to change the amp eq and unless you save them changes are lost next time you select that patch so save any change first when you are happy with settings !

Most of the POD indications are 0-100 ie percentage so I quoted them !

Select an empty effect on the display with left and right and up down button then turn knob 1 to find eq bank and use knob 2 to select type of eq you want ie Mid Focus. double press the enter key to edit the effects (eq) settings press view to return to normal view.

I did glimpse through the 'pilot's handbook, but you are right, I should have read it better;
Your indications are more focused.
At the moment I am in between Strats, but even my LesPaul sounds like a Strat now!
I notice that the delays sound more 'slap-back' ('basement-ish') than I imagined, ( somewhat thin)
But I guess that is what early shadows sound is about. And of course, I must experiment myself.
It is very clever of you to create that 'wonderful land type' complicated delay, audible when muted.

No worries Van ... Wonderful Land is very similar to Peace Pipe etc except it is a slightly wetter mix on the delay overall.

Actually Van the mix on these might be a little too dry as not tried them through my amp till today. Try upping the mix about 8-10 % on the echos

ok. thanks; my solution was to add some extra reverb after the amp (in the pod).
I understand that you used the settings with a real amplifier, including its preamp?

Yes I have used these settings through a Vox AC30 and also through a PA system too and they sound good. If you want to put it through an amp then you need to change the main output mode (normally set for Studio/line out) to combo amp. Press and hold the view button to access these settings and scroll through to find it and change it to combo amp and adjust the settings to get the right sound. For me I chose flat for bass and treble and about 470hz for the frequency.

Also the speakers on these settings need setting to 112 Blue Bell not 212 Silver Bell.

The silver bell would appear to be modelled after one used by the Beatles and others in their cabs around 1964 onwards and have more bottom end for info ... we need the Celestiion Blue sound so change that in the amp settings.

As I said the echo mix was too dry on reflection needs to be wetter by a good 10%
