Is this a Burns guitar?

Hi, this is the only image I have so far of this guitar I am trying to identify. The closest match I could find is a Burns Sonic, but it's not exact. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

It definitely is not a Burns.

It is not British-made, nor even European-made. It is a generic Japanese-made guitar sold back in the sixties under various names including "Top Twenty".

It is generally regarded as being rubbish. Treat as junk or as a nostalgic wall-hanging and you will never be far wrong.

Yes, definitely a Top Twenty of the late 60s/early 70s just before Woolworths started selling them.

I was without a working electric guitar for a time in 1968, and once had to borrow a very similar guitar from a friend of a friend to play a gig...it was pretty bad, but it was either use it gratefully, or no gig!
