Today, after a lott of practice, I had recorded my final version of Wonderful Land.

Hi Fred, It isn't that bad, but keep at it and you'll eventually sort out those timing issues and play it note perfect. That said the sound is good.
I don't normally comment on these posts when the sender doesn't credit the BT maker - it's just good manners to do that.

Hi Fred,

Your latest version of Wonderful Land is sounding pretty good to me. There ar only just the one or two slight timing errors that Dave referred to but one would hardly notice them I think. The tone is good and the muted notes also sound crisp and clear. Well done.

Thank you Len for your nice comments on my final version of WL. I didn,t hear the 2 sligthy timings-error myself, but I m very pleased with this version myself

Hi Fred,

Very nice keep up the good work.
I do not wish to be critical in any way , however could I suggest you look at the part about 45 seconds in on your recording... this repeats of course again later in the tune.

To my ear this part should have a wonderful "bell / chime" like quality. I don't know how you have fingered it but I have seen a few vids here where players move their fingers
from fret to fret to play this part, this tends to "mute off" that sustain / ring. (deadens it)
It is possible to play this part without moving a single finger (provided you can spread your fingers far enough. This then gives that sustain and "bell / chime" type quality.

Have a listen to this part carefully as played by Hank on a Shadows CD.... you hear it "ring out " in a very "smooth" clean way...
Just a thought ..
