Don't know if anyone's discussed this before,so I'll give a go anyway..
There is a period in Shads history that I've seen them using Fiesta Red Strats with ROSEWOOD fretboards instead of the usual mapleneck
that every Shad nerd seems to be using these days..
I know that there is a subtle difference in sound when comparing the two,but imo they both have a different "FEEL" to them
which some players prefer and others not...I myself prefer the rosewood fretboard considering it has a more "mellowish" sound and is
more appealing with string-bends to my own taste.
Anyway...I was wondering why the Shads used the rosewood fretboard Strats for a while and then obviously switching back to the
mapleboard ones?
Any clues?
Cheers,
Ernie
