This looks clever... does the tape loop round and back so as to extend the echo times ?

I used to have one of those; the tape loop is fitted with the "dull" (recording surface) outermost, the opposite way out from the Copicat.

Hi,
The reasoning behind the reversed tape is that as it is driven on the non magnetic side
there is less oxide damage and the tape lasts longer!
as for a second pass by the heads, it passes the magnets and is erased before
it passes by the heads again.
