Thanks for letting me try this machine Ecca - it is superb and I have been playing with it for the last couple of hours, getting my head around how it works. Once I did that I was able to figure out all the echoes we need for the Shads big hits, it really is simple and I have written them all down and will post them for all to try who have this amazing little machine.
I have been playing along to the tracks and tweaking as I went along and can honestly say it does the business - for just a little over £60 if you build it yourself, amazing ! :)

I've been well happy with it Dave, program 5 is my favourite.
Head levels 1,2, and 3 adjustment with the red knob and head 4 with the yellow knob.

Yes Ecca I agree, I believe that is the Echomatic 2 mode which is the correct machine to play Wonderful Land, The Savage, Kon Tiki etc etc. On my ESE Echomatic this is all four heads selected with the FX123 control doing exactly what you are describing, which reduces the level of the first three heads giving a louder 'kick' on the fourth head with regen from the same head.

The Apache echo is achieved with the '0" setting, which is listed as the earlier Echomatic type 'J'' and my controls are at LEVEL=11 RED=6 YELLOW=5 WHITE=0 . . . . . this pattern works also for Frightened Ciy, The Stranger, M.O.M. Mustang, FBI, but all of these need some feedback adding on the white knob.

I'm still playing and finding stuff out so I'll post some settings when I'm through with experimenting. I have at last found the correct echo for Midnight which is the '0' setting with LEVEL=11, RED=6 YELLOW=9 WHITE=5 - It's spot on ! Happy days . . . . . . :P

Here's the latest offering, aluminium casing throughout, LEDs shifted to left on engraved nameplate, I thought it looked cluttered with the LEDs in the middle.

Hi All,
I've had one of these kits for about eight weeks and still haven't got round to building it!!

Ecca your one looks better now that you have moved the lEDS over to the left, as you said it
looked cluttered where they were.

Do you have anymore faceplates for sale? and where did you get your aluminium casing from?

Best regards,
Baz.

Forgot to add, Eccas build quality for the unit plus enclosure and front plate is excellent. And he didn't give me a discount !!
