Hi
Have just seen a new Ford Ka in a shade of red that to me looked exactly as I remembered those Strats from the early sixties. Like those Strats the shade seems to alter depending on the light. May not be exact but if your doing a respray- worth a look.

Just looked at the Ford Ka website and the only colour shown that could be close looks to be a metallic red, but it's difficult to tell with promotional images. Presume you saw yours in the flesh? We have a Ford main dealer in Plymouth so I'll have a squint at it when I'm next passing.

I don't know about the Ford Ka . . . but here's a 50's Ford Thunderbird in the original fiesta red that was used for Fender guitars . . .

That looks like it, def wasnt metalic! As I said previously the shade varies, it looks more salmon in a good light!

I had a Mk2 Capri in the mid 70s. The colour was officially called "Carnival Red" but it was pretty close to Fiesta.
It also had a black vinyl roof and I thought it was the dog's b******s at the time. Funny how tastes change over the years!
Cheers.

I've never had a Fiesta Red car, but I used to have a Red Fiesta.
