Well, I will be hitting the big six-0 next month. Can't quite believe it. Almost every year since I was about 13 I've had a Shadows LP or CD for birthday and/or Christmas. This year I think it'll have to be the In Concert CDs. Wouldn't it be great if, by some miracle, one of those 1975, pre-Eurovision concerts had been recorded...

I wish they would release the complete John Peel sessions from i think 1974. The MW&F sessions would be great as well. I'm sure they exist in perfect quality.

JimN wrote:Try this link for the four live-in-SA tracks, using pieces from the See For Miles CD (especially Norman Vaughan's spoken introduction) as well as from the South African compilation disc.

Suggestion: cut the four tracks in numerical order to a Disc-At-Once CD-R.

See whether you can still discern any vinyl noise (and let me know if you can, together with the position within the track(s)).

Thanks for these Jim. I couldn't detect any vinyl noise listening to the wav. file via Audacity through my Sennheiser headphones but then I am suffering loss of high frequencies at 74!

I did notice that the 'outro' was missing from FBI though. Is that how it is on the South African compilation disc?

Great! Where did you find the screenshots for the next two volumes? They are not on Leo's Den yet.

I see I have answered my own question. Both are listed on the Discogs website.

Received both the 1964 & 1965 CDs today. I played about half the 64 one. Hank's guitar seemed distorted at times but this is a minor problem. Sound quality elsewhere seems to be excellent.
Did i read seen there are future volumes in the works?

Listening to the 1964 CD. Interesting to hear Little B which i haven't live (apart from the YT video of the 1965 special).
