Warren's Library Music Company / Vibratos on Apple / Spotify

Postby bgohara » 10 Aug 2021, 18:03

Good afternoon everyone

Warren Bennett has asked me to let you all know that the Vibratos catalogue is now available to download / stream on all the usual outlets - Apple, Spotify etc.
All of the EP tracks are now included on one album.

He has also set up his own Library Music Company, 'Picture Box Music', in partnership with the Standard Music Library.

Dick & Warren released some great material together as 'The Vibratos' and indeed made a few live appearances, including Shadowmania and Pipeline. I'm sure, like me, many of you will look forward to revisiting these recordings.

Warren is also in the process of setting up some kind of deal with Cherry Red Records. Nothing is finalised as yet. I don't know if it might involve the reissue of material on CD and / or vinyl. We shall have to wait and see. Keep an eye on the Cherry Red Website.....and Shadowmusic of course!!!!! :D

That sounds promising! Maybe another "Official Bootleg" kind of release? "Official Bootleg Volume One" was released in September, 2006 on Warren's label Waffles Music and is a great compilation album. So far, Cherry Red Records has given us two fabulous releases in the form of Brian Bennett's "Voyage" and the Local Heroes' "Some Of Our Shadows Are Missing - The Complete Barry Gibson's Local Heroes". I think Cherry Red Records is up there with Beat Goes On Records and (the now defunct) See For Miles Records as specialists of reissues of albums with bonus tracks and great and informative booklets.
