lightning red?

Postby shadowriter » Sat Jul 24, 2021 1:22 pm

Just got from a charity shop, an old LP that I had in the seventies. Through the passage of time and fading memory
I don't know what actually happened to it.
The LP is 'The Super Guitar of Lightning Red'
Does anyone know who he was and what happened to him, and did anybody have his records ?

I have both LPs. I suspect the material originated in the USA and was leased to Stereo Gold Award in the UK.

I also suspect that LR who produced these two LPs is not the same one who recorded those blues albums. The earlier ones were probably done by a session man, though if somebody can prove me wrong...
