Nice to see. What was the excuse to make it a news story though?!

Who needs an excuse? They should be on the news every night! :D

Nice to see and, as with the new CD and the doco back in May, it can't do them any harm - and might even bring in a few new fans.

It looks like a plug for the aforementioned compilation album and as Chris says, probably also for the 60th anniversary of "Apache".

...Yes, I'll assume that this has been on the cards for a while and probably set up by Brian Goode. It must be aimed primarily at giving the new CD a plug, as was the Hank and Bruce interview in the Mail last week, but as it (sort of) ties in with the 60th anniversary of Apache, then this is always worth a mention! I don't know how many people watch News at Ten, but I'm sure some of them will have been encouraged to buy the CD. I'll admit that I've bought it for my birthday! I'm not quite as old as 'Apache', or that Fender Strat, but almost!

Interestingly you can see the colour of the original Strat, although I realise this particular instrument has been re-sprayed at least two times. The colour is not really 'pink' in the accepted sense, (red with quite a lot of white added) but more a cool (blueish) very slight tint of reddish magenta. (tint being any colour with white added- magenta being red with blue added). Ok, I used to be a printer... A lot of women call magenta 'pink'...
