"60 ESSENTIAL RECORDINGS" CD RELEASE CANCELLED

Sadly as we predicted the above CD release (Hank Marvin And The Shadows) has been vetoed at the 11th hour. The record label has not confirmed as to the problem but I think we can guess. It doesn't look as though this will be re-pressed in the near future, it's just a question of wait and see what happens. If you have ordered a copy from us and paid by Paypal you will be refunded in the next few days. Please bear with us.
A disappointment for many, especially as the cover was quite a good one.

Agree, we realise that but many fans buy releases because they are completists, a point in question is The Final Tour which went back into the charts recently upon yet another reissue. We'll have to see what happens with this one - eventually.

This colour cover picture is from the photo shoot that produced the black and white images featured on the back of the sleeve of the first album, The Shadows.

Amazon UK has an amusing explanation for the deletion:
"Unfortunately we have had to cancel '60 Essential Recordings' ....., as the stock was damaged during manufacturing."
