Has anyone tried the new Fender 2018 Original 50's/60's stratocasters?
@Andertons they liked the 50's better than the 60's

I am currently having to work very, very hard indeed to resist the temptation to pull the trigger on an American Original 50s in Aztec Gold.
So if anyone so much as mentions that, there will be TROUBLE!!

I don't like golden guitars; which unfortunately seriously limits the colour choice, as the 'see through' finishes are all on ash wood instead of 'the shadows' alder.

There's a reason for that; ash has all the pretty grain patterns whereas alder hasn't.

Are these the ones where the 60s model require you to access the truss rod via the scratch plate being removed, and oddly the 50s version has the truss rod adjustment at the top of the neck/headstock...
