Hi all you eTap2hw users.

I have just finished building and testing my first eTap2hw and am very pleased with the sound. Was checking here for some suitable settings and found Dave Robinson's excellent posting in this thread. I thought it may be useful to re-format Dave's list in a more easily editable form so I have converted it into Word and Excel documents - attached.

Many thanks to Dave for his initial work and I hope these docs will encourage others to add suggested settings for other tunes.

BTW I blanked the Level settings column as most players will adjust this to suit their own guitars. I see Dave's Level 'goes to 11'

Phil.

HI DAVE &,,,ALL ,,GREAT of you to publish those above settings as you say a great starting point to begin with & or use as-is ,,, Just a little added note to the Echomatic 11 in bank4 do check-out the A,b,C,E,F programs & you will find that theres a reduced 1st head level [ lower than heads - 2-3,,,in those programs [go though them to find the lowest 1st head level ] & that suits the W/land tune etc,,'' muted section'' as was set up when we did those early build tests with PIET ..prior to the public release ..
Although suttle it does have a reduced 1st head level .. of course then set the contols as it suits your own ears [we all have differing ears] HA.Haar ..mine are 73 years old HA,HAAR.. :)
I found when setting up my Tape-echo's[on which I have level control on all heads ] that this was nessasary on listening to the old recordings to reduce that no1 head level ..especially on W/lAND ..& especially the muted section ..

GREAT THREAD GREAT SITE ,,,,CHEERS from OZ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,BARRY.. ;) :)

See post number 24 on this link, viewtopic.php?f=73&t=8035&start=20
It's the first control which is the on/off switch doubling as the input level, hope this helps.
