HI ECCA,the knobs are just 2x sets ,as I have 2x etap-2-hw units inside & I hope to use the second unit with Reverb programs ,installed into the FV1 chip by PIET ,soon ..
It was just an idea to keep it all in one unit ..

Peter ,,All praise for the excellent Facia must go to ERIK of Denmark-[a Charlie-hall -site member],he did the hard-yards on it & I recieved it in PDf to print ..
I only supplied the Dimentions & pot -Centres names etc .. ,but all done from Australia to Denmark via the Internet
EriK, also designed one for my Home built combo 15-20 watt ,Johan- of-OMF circuited -Loctal-Amp ..
Peter I guess we may soon see another Casing ???? from you ????

CHEERS ALL,,,,,,,,,,,Barry..

I don't think there will be many "surplus" Meazzi's going cheap Dave.

I have one coming by post for alterations, and I brought 3 factotums back for rebuild with me..

CPJ was really interested in my clone of his and I'm now looking after his unit as well.

The echomatic I had with me and mine have been flashed at by cameras so much over the weekend it's a
wonder they haven't faded!!

I would just be happy to hear someone play through one and get a decent sound, without all the noise and distortion that comes with it.
Now that would be a first !

To say I missed it is presuming I would have wanted to buy it - believe me I wouldn't. I heard from several who were there, that here was hardly any difference in sound between Danny's Magicstomp and Justin's Meazzi - but cash-wise about two and a half grand . . . . . You will never convince me Amanda - I await the arrival of Alan's drum Meazzi . . . .

Hi Dave,

My meaning was it's too bad you missed hearing it at the Hankies. I've identified what i think are design flaws both in the tape and drum meazzi
circuitry that cause the distortion problems.

At Shadowmania I was trying to see what Danny was using, I thought it may have been your Atlantis, but short of walking round and standing
in front of the stage and looking at his pedals, I only found out later that it was his Magicstomp, and a damn good job
it did as well, as you have been told the differences between Danny's sound and Justins was minimal if any.

As for convincing you Dave, that's not my intention, and as for Alan's drum Meazzi I think any differences will be small, bearing in mind that the original
Drum was magnetically coated, whereas that was later switched to a band of 1/2" tape because as you will know of oxide wear problems with the drum.

At the end of the day Dave it's all personal preference, if I was playing Lead and needing the classic echo sounds then it would be the magicstomp for me
possibly with an external valve input / output unit, for impedance matching.

Meazzi's need a lot of care and feeding!! But while people still want my services in sorting them who am I to turn down jobs..

All the best Dave - hopefully see you soon!!

Amanda
