Steady on Ecca, sense of humour around these parts ? That would be a rarity mate. By the way make sure that you use the correct period screws when building these units, or we won't sound like Hank. ;)

i thought etaptw vintage echo simulater did trip nicly of the tongue. :twisted: ecca it was meant as a tongue in cheek remark not meant any other way :D
dave hope you also read this as i do have a sence of humour rare as you say but we down south do have it :shock: ;)
maybe its the north south devide kicking in :D thats also a stab at humour. :twisted: :twisted:
i have just started to build my unit never done any thing like this before but what a great project this is, it really gets the imagination going
peter. ps i am surprised fiesta red hasnt got a mention yet.

Sorry to upset the applecart, but it will only sound like Hank's early sound if it's fitted in a replica
of the case from the original drum echo with all the original type controls / sockets etc.. ;)

Hi there,

I'm new here.

I live in the Netherlands.

A few weeks ago i build a etap2hw from echotapper.
My bcd switch is a little bit different vs the original, this is the one which Newtone send to me.

0= meazzi f1 classic
1= meazzi 2 bank
2= meazzi f1 special
3= vox long tom
4= meazzi 2 classic
5= roland model 301
6= reverb or tremolo
7= meazzi 1 j classic

It's a very nice echo.

But i have a little bit trouble with finding the right settings for the Shadows numbers.

Has anyone some tips?
