Hi Ecca, Dave

I think it's the long tom on slow setting (heads 1. and 3 switched off) so 140, 280, 350, 420.

Yes that sounds right, so 350 & 420 and twiddle the levels and feedback until it sounds the same as the record.

Oops ! I think that should read 280 & 420

Hello Etap builders,

Here some pictures of my EtapHW extended with an automation board:
https://www.dropbox.com/home#!/home/Photos/Etap%20echo

The automation board is basically similar to the Arduino board with an ATmega 328 proccessor.

The proccessor software is made by Johan Forrer.

Now i can select with the up, down and select switches, the correct echo and head selection.
The Dry / Wet and Feedback potentiometer I still use manual.

HI PETER-N,,,, I like your version of the Etap-2-HW Looks really nice,...
I am also doing Johan-Forrer's Automation [not quite completed as yet ] I run into trouble with the 328 chip being the wrong numbering [ie] my original was ''Atmega 328-pu'' & the Arduino would not recognise the board ,but after much trial & error found that I needed the'' Atmega 328p-pu''..chip
As I know very little with this DSP stuff JOHAN is helping me though the proccess ..[johan is a great fellow & highly talented]

Peter Which programmer did you use to upload the ,Johans -File ??????,as I had problems with the first one I bought ,but after Johan sent his spare programmer to me ,I have now loaded the file, ..
Nearly ready for testing onto the mother board [Etap-2] should be a couple days ..

This AUTOMATION designed by JOHAN is very affordable & My board & parts were located in Australia .very cheaply...

I am awaiting Piet's HYBRID-file for valve operation to be 100% valve audio ,,, I have the valves set-up as it is ,but the repeat is still done inthe FV1 untill Piet has the time to do the HYBRID programming ..

I can say this ,&, that is I have my Etap-2-HW switchable from valve to Fet-opamp & there is vurtully very very little difference in the sounds from my ears & those of PIET,JOHAN & ERIK ,but its not over yet untill we get it 100% all valve..

OK as I wanted to keep all options ,,I have added the Automation-LCD in my removable Lid ,,,The hole's behind the LCD are for the Valve controls .I have 2x Etap2-boards in this unit ,the second one will be programmed with Reverbs etc & can be switched in series by a 2 pos rotary & then we have 2x sets of controls in use ,, The top row is the STD Etap-2-HW & can be Switched from Fet-Opamp-To valve Audio ,instantly via a 4 pole toggle switch ..

This Etap-2-HW kit that PIET has developed will be a great success & affordable to All shads guitar players ,..
