The physical size of the pot doesn't matter Peter.
The thumbwheel is very clear as to what program you're on.

thanks ecca thats the reason i`m changing to a thumb wheel because its so clear about the program selection. now asking the next thing might seem a bit dumb but how do you calibate the pot movment for the other pots like when you say number 5, 6 or 7, how far is the pot rotated. peter

You have a good guess for starters, that's why I use numbered dials.

just about to change the rotory to a thumb wheel and need advice, the thumb wheel is numbered 0,1,2,4,8 the rotory has letters a,b,c,e. which numbers do i use and what order please. thanks peter

0= Common ( pos supply)
1=A
2=B
4=C
8=E

HI PETER & ALL,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,YES peter I also have used the Larger ''Thumbwheel'' BCD's in my projects at least you see the selection no's .

My apologies if you have already posted this Barry, but do you have any pictures of your unit with the larger thumbwheel and the rotarry switch ? :idea:

The small size of the controls and difficulty in reading the numbers is the ONLY issue for this machine in a live environment - Ecca is currently working on this for me, bless him.

A problem I have as well, so hopefully he'll have a resolution soon. :thumbup:
