I'm not going to get involved which 'is' better than 'that', suffice to say, that out of all the echo units I've owned (and that's probably most with the exception of the TVS), the eTap2hw beats them all. It sounds just as good whether played through my AC15 Heritage or Fender Super XD Champ. With other echo units, I've used combinations of Roberto's, Charlie's and the Gemini filters to good effect, but the eTap is a 'stand alone' unit, not requiring any further eq'ing, I wish it had come along years ago. :D

are the pots being used on these etap`s the big one`s or small ones, i put small ones on mine. also i am going to change to a thumb wheel from a rotory switch. peter
