For UK builders this list may help with sourcing other bits. There are of course other suppliers.

You'll need a few other things to build the eTap2HW.

Below is a list a few of the parts you need which are available from Maplin and also from other suppliers such as CPC, Farnell, RS etc. Of course you'll need an enclosure of some sort to put it in too!

Details of Maplin parts, part nos etc

I am a bit lost here. You list both a BCD thumbwheel switch and a rotary switch. On the instructions I can only see connections for a rotary switch. Also the URL for both thumbwheel BCD switch and the 'cheeks' point to the same page at Maplins and the pictures are identical - help please !?!

It's either a thumbwheel switch or a rotary switch, not both.
The thumbwheel switch requires side cheeks in order to mount it.
The picture of the side cheeks on the Maplin page is the wrong one, it's the same picture of the same object- the switch.
