Hello to all eTAP2HW forum members,

I just recently joined this forum & glad to be here. As posted in Piet's main eTAP2HW website by a certain David back in 2011 re: BCD replacement available at http://www.digikey.com in the USA. I just installed the Grayhill brand mechanical encoder - catalog number is GH074-ND. This part has an excellent quality. It is continous & has 16 positons. With a little modification (I did not modify mine) it can be altered to stop & function like an 8-position switch. It is also ready for the knob (no need to cut the shaft). It has pin connectors for the PCB but can be adapted to be mounted on the chassis. .....all for now. Thanks for reading.

Can't see anything and Digikey doesn't recognise the part number.

Here's the link: http://www.digikey.com/product-search/en?x=18&y=14&lang=en&site=us&KeyWords=Grayhill+GH3074-ND&stock=1

or if you're in the Digikey web site.....Search "Grayhill GH3074-ND" . I hope this helps.

Yes, it looks a good switch, the terminations look a bit more beefy that the usual ones.
