All on one board......

Postby ecca » Thu Mar 06, 2014 9:08 am

Here's the latest pre-prototype PCB for the valve Eccamatic eTap2hw units.
The valve preamps and controls all on the one PCB.
It's a double sided PCB made with much trepidation by me at home, every step of the process is a potential disaster but it came out reasonably OK .
The tracks are wider than they would be on a commercially made board , that's so I had a sporting chance of it coming out OK at home.
It's a 9 volt regulator, the valve heaters are in series and run at 12 VAC.

It'll end in tears I tell you.
Hank Marvin never needed all this electronic trickery.

All he had was talent ... and an AC15 .... oh ... and an echo machine ... and the rest of the Shads

I have invented a low cost processor that runs on static electricity.
I will be making it available to the general public as soon as I have worked out how to play the guitar whilst rubbing a balloon on my jumper :D
