A great night out.

I would like to thank all the lads at the club meeting last night ( 5TH SEPT ) for asking me to sit in with them on the drums. I had a very enjoyable evening which brought back many happy memories of gigs in years gone by.
Terry.

Hi Terry,
Thoroughly enjoyed your drumming. It should be us thanking you for playing drums with us. So much better playing live than to backing tracks - much more interesting and dynamic!
Best Regards, Dave

Terry,
Dave is right! I love playing with the band, it sounds so much more alive than do the backing tracks. And if I make a mistake I can always look at one of the other band members and perhaps the audience will think it was them and not me!
All the best, Mike

Do not forget Alan on bass, he does a good job as well.

Absolutely right Spence.
My comment was in reply to Terry's and was in no way meant to ignore the other great players.
Everyone who gets up and plays in the band deserves a mention, as you say Alan on bass and Tony and Steve on rhythm, plus anyone else I have forgotten to mention.
I should also mention you and Pete on the sound desk, as with all things it is a team effort and everyone plays their part (is there a pun in there?)
Anyway it is a great club and the last meeting was a good 'un !!
See you next month.
Regards, Dave
