I've been doing a bit of recording recently and one of the tracks I'm working on is TFYL.
I'm having a bit of trouble getting the sound right for what I call the 'middle verse' - the semi-muted section between about 1:45 and 2:15. It's got a sort of 'chorus' sound to it; wouldn't have been chorus in those days of course and I've always assumed it was two guitars double-tracked. But when I tried that it was nowhere near right!
I was using the middle pickup, is that correct? And would switching off the echo on one track help?
(I'm using the 'Wonderful Land' echo setting by the way - first replay head switched off.)

Hi Steve, play it all on the bridge pup, and use Atlantis (tune) echo.

From memory, this part was double tracked, ie played normaly then the overdubbed muted part was added, hense the 'chorus' effect.
