Hi ! There.

I wonder what guitar Bruce used on the recording sessions in the early days of '60s.

When he din't have a stratcaster yet.

Jazz Master ? Telecaster ? Gretch ?

HI Yuji

I would think he possibly used them all on the 1960-early-mid 1961 records for electric guitar rhythm, plus he used a red rosewood fingerboard Stratocaster from about late 1961/early 1962, and he used Cliff Richard's Gibson J 200 acoustic a lot on the records.

Recording Sessions

Thanks for the links, Eugene. I had never seen those before or Bruce using those guitars. Great.

For the recording sessions, which is your query, I understand that Bruce used Cliff Richard's Gibson J200 almost exclusively at least up to end 1963. One exception is on "Raggy Tramline," for which I read he used the Jazzmaster.
