Hi Twangaway,
You can only ask, get a double deal.
I've only got one Custom shop Strat now but if I had another Strat and on what I heard plus Dave's recommendation to boot I would'nt hesitate to give 'em a whirl.

Hi Tony , Brain is willing, but pocket isn't. Have other priorities at the moment, so it will have to wait till better times

I think Toneriders are great pups & unbeatable performance/value for the (not very much) money.

I'm on the lookout for another set for a strat & tele if anybody wants to move a set on

Cheers

Dick.

Hi all. After reading this post yesterday,I contacted Rod at Sliders in Austrailia. I receved a full spec for the classic 59 Shadows set (LEFT HANDED) along with options and price. I have ordered a set and now I just have to be patient until they arrive. My 58 Masterbuild is presently fitted with Fender CS 69s and I have to say they sound pretty good. Prior to the 69s it was Bare Knuckle Apache, CS Fat 50s,for the second time, Kinman CV HMS, CS Texas Specials and CS Fat 50s, which was one of the two options on offer when I placed the order for the guitar in 1989. No AY masterwound in 89. The Sliders, allong with the Curt Mangan pure nickel strings, hopefully, will get me a bit closer to 'That Sound'.
Thanks Dave and Phil for the brilliant dem's
Regards Geoff.

Hi all. The pickups arrived safe and sound on tuesday. I put them in a spare lefty three ply just to have a good look at them and get them out of the package.
They will be installed in the 58 master built this weekend allong with the original NOS wax capacitor supplied by slider.
Regards Geoff.
