Hi Bob,
I will put up details for the Gala at the Rugby Club as soon as I can. It is a short distance from the centre of Scarboro. A lot of people stay on the north side at our usual hotel and from there it takes about ten mins in a car. The Rugby Club has its own website. Put in Google - Scarborough Rugby Club and it shows you all about it. Hope this helps.
Cheers Linda

Hi all,
We have had to rearrange the November meeting from Nov 14th to Nov 7th due to the Ambassador Hotel not being available on the date of the 14th. Have put it on the calendar too, Cheers Linda x

Hi everyone at East Yorks,

George & I (the lads from "down under') may be able to make it to your Sept 12th and/or your October 10th. meeting 2010. Having already been to two of your club meetings I feel like part of the furniture now (he says, as he points to the commode chair).

Hope there's enough space in the program for us to do a set. If not then we'll just have to wait on tables and serve the food & drinks; anything to be amongst you wonderful people again (and the fish & chips, thanks Linda).

Don't forget, I'm the son of a Yorkshireman too, and my Grandfather was the resident minister at Square Church Halifax for many years (after which the roof fell in !!!!!).

(Only problem was my own father would never take me to the Sheffield zoo; he said "if they want you they'll come and get you." ha ha)

Hopefully we'll have Alan Jones with us too. He's not from the zoo either.
