Pay the club?

Pay the club?

PAY?

With money?

What is this "paying" concept?

In eight years of co-running SMSE, I am pleased, nay, PROUD, to say that we never paid "rent" or "hire fees" to any of the venues.

The idea is that we bring thirty or so thirsty drinkers to the pub or club. Thirty thirsty drinkers who would not otherwise be there, and the venue takes £200 or so that it wouldn't otherwise have taken. And the club charges its members and guests a small amount which is ploughed back into the facilities the guitar club can offer the audience.

That's all.

Too right Jim.
