It's nice that so many people take an interest. ( Or is it morbid curiosity? ).
Considering the vast majority of people here don't know where Great Wyrley is. ( And them that do can't bloody well spell it ).
I wonder if anyone considers the background work that goes into negotiations such as Roger and myself took on recently.
Does anyone realise that over a period of twenty five years there is a potential saving of £ 2345.00?
Does anyone realise that this, ( plus the odd couple of hundred quid ), is the going rate for a Left Handed Custom Shop Stratocaster.
Does anyone give a toss?
We are very fortunate. ( I just forget why, it'll come back to me ).
You see, diplomacy is most important in these cases. Whilst standing talking to one of the locals a thought flashed through my head.
But enough of that.
I stood there and was tempted to ask, "Would you like some underarm deodorant for your Birthday?" However, until negotiations
are concluded I thought I'd let discretion be the better part of valour.
Whatever the outcome of our meetings with said committee, it never hurts to say to someone, "Don't take me for granted".
So tell that somone that you love, just what you're thinking of.
Oh sorry, that's what I'm listening to in the background.
Anyway, possibly early next week we'll know the feeling of the committee toward our proposal and will, of course, cast it to the public domain.
After all, you wouldn't have read this far if you weren't interested, would you?
Cheers, Alan, ( Joint negotiator, dog lover and all round good egg, for a fairer deal for Hankies everywhere ).
To know and have known the love of a little dog is a truly wonderful thing.
