A magician on a cruise ship is constantly having his act spoilt by the ship’s parrot. Every time he does a trick, the parrot shouts from the back of the room, ‘It’s in his pocket!’ or ‘the four of clubs!’ or It’s got a false bottom!’ and the magician obviously hates this. Anyway, one night the ship sinks and the magician and the parrot find themselves clinging to a piece of drift wood. For four days the parrot says nothing at all, just staring at the magician. Then, on the fifth day, the parrot says……..’Ok, I give up. Where’s the b****y ship?
