Most accurate tab

Postby Alexis Lambert » 27 Jan 2017, 00:26

Who produces the most accurate tab of Shadows tracks? I've got several on disc & when i've tried to play them, there seems to be notes either missing or too many or what seem just plain wrong. Want Wonderful Land, none of the ones I have are how Hank plays it.

Tony Clout's tab is professionally done and will get you close.

Bearing in mind also that Hank doesn't always play things the same way, I'd suggest that you start with any tab you think is in the ball park, then mark it up with any alterations that you think would be nearer the result you want.

Scarcely, if ever have I found a completely accurate tab.

It may be worth looking at the GuitarPro tabs here though I haven't checked them so can't guarantee their accuracy (there are a lot of Shads tabs on the site but many are poor).

GuitarPro will play the tabs as midi so you can actually hear if it sounds right to you. If you don't have Guitar Pro then Tuxguitar should do the job.
