Dale Hawkins of 'Susie-Q' fame

Sad to report the death of Dale Hawkins, singer, songwriter and guitarist on 13th February. There's a sort of Shadows link because in 1956, twenty-year-old Dale wrote and recorded 'Susie-Q' and the record features the wild guitar licks of a fifteen-year old James Burton, one of Hank's early influences.
