R.I.P. John Schroeder

Just announced that he passed away yesterday after a battle with cancer at 82.
He of course was Norrie Paramor's assistant, co-wrote some of Helen Shapiro's biggest
hits, and later was Oriole and Piccadilly record labels Chief A&R man.
His biography All for the Love of Music was published last year, and he gave quite a detailed
account of his time with Norrie Paramor and some of the EMI sound men and recording teams.
