Hi everyone, Still pluckin' away on the Encore. I am hoping to upgrade my bass at Christmas time, (rapidly approaching AAAHHHHH!!!) On the new guitar, hopefully, I would like to fit a Fender style pickup cover. I made one for my present bass out of stainless steel,(close but dosn't quite look right) I have tried out new guitars and have found that I cannot do without it now. However it can be quite difficult to get it folded just right. Does anyone know if it is possible to buy one anywhere in Co. Down, N Ireland? I have trawled the internet for one and can only find it on ebay. I hate that site. I would rather buy it from a local shop or second hand of someone near by? I really dont want to try and make another one as I would like it to be right.
If anyone can help, Please let me know.
Cherrs everyone David.

Hello, David.

Don't even think of trying to do it yourself. It simply isn't worth the effort, considering the low prices these items (some of them Fender-made, others pattern-parts) sell for.

Try:

http://musical-instruments.shop.ebay.co.uk/Guitars-/3858/i.html?_nkw=fender+cover&_catref=1&_fln=1&_trksid=p3286.c0.m282

Hope this helps,

JN

G'day David,
I just ordered a set for my '62 reissue from this mob. Very good price and fair postage (USA to OZ).
See what you think Cheers

Hello Tom,
Greetings from across the pond.
I too purchased parts similar to these these from Josh and found his prices very fair and service excellent.
Cheers,
JB
