MagicStomp - Bass Conversion?

Postby David Martin » Wed Nov 11, 2009 10:56 am

Hi all

A couple of questions you could help me with regarding a recently acquired MagicStomp bass version:-

1) Can I convert it to the guitar version with a download?
2) Can I use EFTP patches on it with good results if I don't convert it?

Never tried to convert the Bass Stomp to a guitar one but I guess it can be done easily enough.

I have installed EFTP onto the Bass Stomp and to my ears it sounded every bit the same as an electric stomp with EFTP installed.

Cheers

Hallo David

The answer is yes on both counts. I have done it with my Magicstomp acoustic. You can find the firmware to do the MS conversion here:

http://www.4shared.com/file/144292595/f ... part1.html

http://www.4shared.com/file/144293044/8 ... part2.html

You will also need a midi utility. If you don't have one already there is one at:
