Ecca hat's absolutely right when I first wheeled it across the car park on the rough tarmac it was like a bone shaker ... I thought blimey me valves will drop out !

Suspension eh ! loved to have seen it !

Thats when I got the trolley... castors work great on carpet in the house and indoors at the club though...

I think the Almighty gave us transistor amps to relieve pain in our our backs.

I started using transistor jobs from about 1977- after years of humping big heavy valve amps...never looked back.

Talking of clean amp sounds, my first amp ever was a large 2x12 combo called a Maestro GA46T made by Gibson, it was a 60 watt valve job with the whole unit on casters- it gave a crystal clear sound even when turned up to 10...which I DIDN'T want at age 17- I wanted to sound like Hendrix, Clapton and Jeff Beck..I recently found out that this amp was made by Gibson- for use with ACCORDIANS....

yes, Trevor and Alan played with Kevin Peek and Alan's brother Frank in Johnny Broome & The Handels here in SA in the '60's- how do you think I learnt all my guitar basics? Watching Kevin play every week at the local dances! Terry Britten also played with these guys in the UK in the late '60's/early '70's.
