GUITAR RACK. SHEFFIELD SHOW.

Postby Geoff Alderton LH » Sat Oct 17, 2009 11:51 am

Hi all. During the fantastic sound and picture show start ,on the big screen, prior to Cliff and The Shadows start with 'We Say Yeah' there was a shot showing a guitar rack. It contained a couple of red Strats, the Burns twelve string and a Antoria LG50. It was only on screen for a couple of seconds. My wife said, It must be your imagination, be quiet, the shows started. What is an LG50!!! Can anyone confirm what I thought I saw, was there an Antoria in the rack.
Regards Geoff.

Hi. It sure did Alan/Paul I just need someone who is going to one of the remaining shows to confirm what I saw. The very short view/shot, showing the guitar rack, is about halfway through the opening film/sound presentation just before the stage lights come on for Cliff and the Shads.
Regards Geoff.

I remember seeing that clip, but thought the 'lightish' coloured electric guitar, was the Scotsman strat, but I could be wrong.

Hi all. Good morning Alan. Yes I think the Scotsman was also in the rack but still got the amber Antoria in my mind. Just like the one in my avatar. With a bit of luck it might be shown in the DVD. Do we know when it's due for release?
Regards Geoff.

Hello Geoff,
DVD is due for release 9 November if I remember correctly.
Can't help with your Antoria question, I'm afraid (being "only a Drummer"!) - but wasn't it GOOD at Sheffield, eh?
Regards
Paul

Hi Paul. Thank you for the release date, not to long to wait. It was very good. The opening was fantastic, but so was the rest of the show.
Regards Geoff.
