Thank you but it's no big deal for me David, I've been an electrical engineer all my working life.
I'm not as 'in-depth' knowledgeable as Amanda with regard to grid bias etc but
one circuit diagram is very much like another.
I would add a caution to anyone attempting to build a valve amp whether from scratch as I did or as a kit though.
There are high voltages present that could potentially kill you many minutes after you've switched it off.

I always think of the TV repair man we used to have visit our house in the late 50's and 60's .... he had lost several fingers and when I asked him how he said he had gotton too brave at times ! TV sets back then of course had valves in them and were breaking down regulary as well as all the other high voltages associated with the main viewing tube.

Here's the almost finished amp, waiting for a handle.

Here's it from the back. I put an acrylic backplate on it.

I can't say I'm happy about the cloth I covered it with, but I've had enough of it now.
It still squeals a bit on high volume so I'll see what Amanda says on Tuesday.

Corrrrrr! Ecca I bet that now you've covered it with that carbon fibre look-alike vinyl it's pounds lighter in weight !!!!

Seriously, it looks like good fun and a good little workhorse.
