Postby Marcpes » Mon Oct 05, 2009 12:11 am

Hi Folks,

I'm curious to know some information regarding Fentones' echo unit utilized in the recording session of Lover's Guitar.
Does anybody knows anything ?
Regards,

Hi Marc,
Sorry, I don't know which Echo unit they used, but they certainly were a fantastic band. I saw them live in Birmingham in 1962/63, backing Shane Fenton. They did a couple of their instrumentals during the set, & were quite a powerful band, with an aggressive style. They performed with their trademark set of White Fenders, but didn't seem to get the level of fame their talent deserved at the time.

Tony.

I'm reliably informed by Alan Jackson that it was a Baby Binson. :)
