Hi
Saw the 60's group The Ivy league, they were brill, but the best bit was the lead guitar it was a Synth guitar, and he played Exodus, the sound he got was superb, the transition between instruments was superb.
There is a video on youtube.

Take a look at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lYQIBg-5OMo
In this clip featuring Big Jim Sullivan he uses an AXON 100 guitar synth with the Roland midi pick-up fitted to his Patrick Eggle Legend. You can hear it when he plays the solo about 2 minutes into the number when he mixes the natuarl guitar sound with the synth. Apart from which it is just great playing!
