Important is what the BS EN 50160 says. I don't have that standard. If the standard says the UK maximum voltage is 240V + 6% the situation is technically ok, because 240V + 6% is about the same as 230V + 10%. Confirmly it's wrong, because the nominal voltage (240V) should be noted on the amp. If the maximum voltage is 240V + 10%, the amp doesn't apply the standard. In both cases it's wrong. In case of an official complaint Vox, could be prosecuted for not applying European standards. I don't believe it will comes so far. Didier says the UK amp, is the GE amp with another plug is right, thus wrong.
