Hi Andy,
Did you hold your strat against the car in the same light?
One of my neighbours has a Renault Capture in kinda Ocean Turquoise ( Fender colour) ,when I hold one of my strats(in house it looks the same as the car) against it they differ so much..... the strat looks old Lake Placid Blue in daylight...which it is!
I've seen Fiesta true the years on cars Hyundai,Ford and lot more....when I'm holding my original Fender 60's custom colour card next to it....always wrong

I did that, Robb. Looking at the guitar and the car separately, they seem identical, but when I hold up the guitar against the car, suddenly the pinkish hue of fiesta red becomes apparent.
I’ll try to post a photo, but I don’t have any photo sharing apps on my phone.

Nice pic Andy!
I've had that many times over....seeing a red colour and think....fiesta....collecting my original genuine '60 custom colour cart at the house.
Then next to the car it looks way off....
