Hi,

Geoff's patches for the Zoom 508 are very good and I wish I still had mine. If I knew then what I know now I would certainly not have sold it!
The Art D Echo patches for the Zoom G1on/G1xon are pretty good. The Apache patch is pretty accurate as is the Wonderful Land patch. However, nothing should thought of as set in stone. There is always room for adjustment if you feel the need. The main adjustments i would consider would mainly be to the feedback and mix settings to the last head in the chain. For Wonderful Land this would be the Tape Echo module No. 5 in the chain.
If you havn;t already go to http://www.zoompatches.com/forum/index. ... tsg813b71& and download the ZoomLib program and on that site you will find a few Apache patches for the G1on/G1xon as well as many others for different genres.

Regards

Ian

Colin, your next step could be to get Ross Hall's patches for your Zoom G3X. I got them a while back and was very impressed. For the cost, £80.00, in my opinion they are an excellent investment.
Based on what you've written here they are a quantum leap forward.
Cheers, Alan.
