Vox VT15 Valvetronics

Any of you guys have/played or heard this amp? I was wondering if it had anything near a Vox valve sound. Its just for home use without too much expense, and possibly being connected to a pa mixing desk later on for live use.
It seems reasonably priced for what its supposed to do.

I had one and to me the AC30 and AC15 settings were pretty good but I'm no expert and can live without the quest for "that sound". If it sounds good to me, that's all I ask.
I would say go ahead, it's a versatile little amp and quite loud, too!

A friend of mine has one, and I have heard it live in a 45 people room. The sound was very good and loud enough with a real drummer (it was the former model AD15VT played with a Strat through a Zoom G7.1u).

Thanks guys for the info 8-) Now after having looked in Youtube for demo's, I'm now being drawn to the VT30
They say for around 40 quid more, the difference is that you get so much more for your cash.
I guess when I get home I'll need to get into Guitar Guitar and try them both out.
Some say that because of the extra output, the VT30 can produce the warmer tones better than the VT15.

The VT30 has a 10" speaker which can only be better than the 8" one on the VT15.

Remember that it's only : "just for home use without too much expense, and possibly being connected to a pa mixing desk later on for live use."

Hi
I use the AD15, and for home use it perfect, there is plenty of volume to spare, if you need it.
Take care
