Hi everyone

I am new to the forum and require some help.

I am a home player who has an american std strat with 57/62 pickups

magicstomp with EFTP

and a Vox aac30 2hl

i should be getting a great tone but lacking something. Not getting what I can describe as that vintage twang?

should I be using the EF86 channel or the top boost and what about the little switches and tone controls and the cut dial?

Any help in the right direction would be a great help as I am the only Hank fan in the house.

Stan

For the early stuff, definitely the EF86 channel... not too much top... the twang comes from the way you hit the strings.
For the Burns stuff, Top Boost... max Bass... Treble till it bites... and the little switch in the Standard position...

See how you get on...

Where in the world are you?

:)

There's a small group of players that meets mid Wales. It would be good to hook up with them...
