Neil,

Yes just put the "eTAP2b001.dll" in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Cakewalk\VstPlugins\Cakewalk Sound Center" folder.

Restart/ start Sonar.

I take it you have the eTap dll now.

Some multi effect pedals work as interfaces via USB, I think the Zoom G3 is one

Hi Neil,

It’s one thing to get it working, I did a similar thing with an Apogee Duet when Apple dropped Firewire support by using a converter lead to Thunderbolt with unsupported drivers, but when I eventually bit the bullet and changed it for fully compliant interface and drivers I discovered just how much it had been sucking tone.

Following Rogers comment any pedal that has a line out or headphone socket should work, but of course you are limited to the audio quality of computers sound card.

Regards

Hi there, I've recently bought a zoom u44 for recording on my laptop, i have a zoom r24 multitrack that I use for an interface and surface and never had a problem with any of them, the u44 is pretty compact and portable. Heres a link

Best of luck
