6-page Burns article in Guitar & Bass Magazine

Postby RayL » Sat Jul 10, 2010 10:02 am

The latest issue of G & B (dated September) has a six-page article on Burns. It tells the story from Jim's early days to the present, with lots of photos. It's well-written by Roger Cooper, who includes thanks to Phil Harris of Harris Hire and Per Gjörde. Paul, do I remember that you've got an article on the way for another publication? Any news of that?

Hi Ray,
My major feature on the UK instrument scene's formative five-years (1958-62) is still taking shape, but writing about Burns' 50 years in the business has had to take precedence for the time being. I don't mind - some of the research works equally well for both and it all means much-needed money!

Hi Paul

Please let us know when they will be available. I'm sure the mods of this site will see it as 'essential information' rather than 'advertising'!

You're already doing a good job of it, Ray!
