One of the local branches of The Works was selling 'The history of rock in fifty guitars' by one Bruce Wexler.
It's a series of nicely - illustrated three or four-page profiles of guitars and players associated with that model. Burns represented by the Marvin (the Strat being linked in this instance by Knopfler, M & Hendrix, J) but also by the Marquee - which according to the author was "created... especially for Jet Harris". As that's in the second entry in the A-Z list, I wait with interest to see what other interesting facts the author unearths...
